Cetus Island Hood
Cetus is a design hood that allows the possibility of a sleek modern look, or a vintage farm-house feel, depending on your choice of colour/metal finishing.

The strips can be custom coloured as well, or have a metal finish to break up the lines and give a two-tone effect to the design.
Side strips can be supplied in the colour or PVD metal of your choice at no extra charge. It is additional charge for matt colours, high-glosscolours, PVD copper, steel, black steel or brass in brushed or high-gloss finish.
Cetus is also available as a wall-mounted hood.

Recommendations
The diameter, length and number of bends in the duct affects the efficiency of your extraction. Often, the actual extraction is half of the motor capacity, due to poor installation. Use ducting that creates the least possible resistance. This means using ducting that is as smooth as possible inside with as few bends possible. In the case of flexible ducting, make sure the ducting is taught. Try to keep the distance of the ducting as short as possible. In situations where the distance is large and requires lots of bends, it’s best to get a hood with the highest possible extraction to compensate for the loss.
The recommended distance above the hob is 50–75 cm. It will be easier to cook if the hood is raised slightly.
NB: The distance above a gas hob must be at least 75 cm due to the risk of fire.
Please check your local building regulations for clearance height restrictions for your hob from your hood.
